Locksmith, Access Control, Alarm, and Security Camera Company Since 1965.
Armor Lock & Security Since 1965
A commercial locksmith first, and a full security company today.
We are primarily a commercial locksmith company. We certainly do residential work too, but our core focus is working with property management companies and building owners to keep their buildings secure and running smoothly.
Over the years Armor has evolved from a traditional locksmith company into a full-service security systems integrator, with services ranging from lock hardware to a broad range of electronic security systems. We maintain a large fleet of clearly marked service vehicles and technicians, and we pride ourselves on same day service.
Armor is a fully licensed, bonded and insured company, available around the clock 24/7, and committed to fair prices and complete customer satisfaction. Your safety and security is our business!
Over 99% of the time we can see you same day.
And we never make you wait more than 24 hours for a site visit.
Why choose Armor?
There are many factors that make Armor Lock & Security different from other locksmiths and security companies. A few are:
We know Atlanta
We have been working as a commercial locksmith in Atlanta for over 50 years and have been a part of the changes and growth in the city. You are welcome to stop by our office and training facility anytime.
Our technicians stay
Our locksmith technicians have been with us on average 15+ years. Between them that is over 250 years of experience on your doors.
The size to come the same day
We have many service trucks throughout Atlanta each day. We never make you wait more than 24 hours for a site visit, and over 99% of the time we can see you same day.
Insured and licensed, and happy to show you
We carry the proper insurance and licenses, and we expect and invite our customers to check before service is performed.
We care
Our repeat customers know us by name and we know them, their properties and their operating procedures. We intend on keeping our customers as clients.
Everything in house
We are one of the very few companies in Atlanta that can provide all security services in house without sub-contracting, so we control the pricing, timing and quality of our work and stand behind it with a quality guarantee.
Locksmith services
What our trucks are doing every day.
Key Duplication, Rekeying Locks, Master Key Systems, installing and repairing lock hardware and door hardware (including door closers and pivots), and electronic door systems. These are the common locksmith services we provide on a daily basis.
KDKeys Duplicated
We can duplicate most non-patent restricted keys, and originate most filing cabinet keys by code. You can always send us a picture to confirm before stopping by.
RKLocks Rekeyed
We rekey most non-patent restricted keyways and specialize in commercial building rekeys, including the more difficult removable core systems.
LRLocks Repaired
Commercial locks are expensive, so we will always try to repair your existing hardware if it is an option. We work on most cylindrical and mortise style locksets.
MKMaster Key Systems
50 years of creating commercial master key systems, from initial system design to implementation, so the system is exactly what you asked for and need.
KEY A2
A key is worth everything it protects.
We have designed, implemented and maintained keying systems in Atlanta for over 50 years, from simple Schlage systems to the more difficult removable core systems like Sargent, Best and Corbin/Russwin. A master key system lets the manager open every lock in the building while each employee only opens their own office.
Read our key control best practicesAccountability
Label every key with a blind code like "A2" instead of "Office 412", and keep original code cut keys in a key cabinet.
Authorization
One person accountable for key distribution, permanent key records, and keys treated as company property.
Loss prevention
Restricted keys from ASSA or Medeco where duplication is a problem, and periodic key audits.
Electronic security
Access control, alarms and cameras, installed by the same technicians.
All of our locksmith technicians are first trained at locksmith skills before they receive training in Access Control, Safe Service and Security Cameras. We have weekly training classes to keep every technician on top of an ever changing industry.
ACAccess Control
Single door to full building systems.
We have been installing access control systems in Atlanta since the early 1980's, thousands of them, for companies all over Metro Atlanta. For new full panel systems we like browser managed Nortek eMerge and Isonas (by Allegion) systems: no dedicated computer in an IT room, and two facilities can run under one system whether they are next door or across the country.

SCSecurity Cameras
IP and HD over coax camera systems.
We design, install, service and expand commercial security camera systems for warehouses, industrial facilities, offices, retail and distribution centers, from a single building to multi-site installations. Already have coax in the walls? We can often reuse it.

“I had a wonderful experience with this company from the get go! Honest, straight forward, affordable and prompt. I had to get 2 locks changed on my business immediately last week and they had someone arrive within an hour. Rod was our tech, he was thorough, very kind and got the job done in a timely manner.”
“Great group of guys; both Eric and Richard. They sent Angela out to help make these special rare keys. I would use them again. Thanks guys!”
“I called yesterday to ask about unlocking a security box that has very important items in it and Eric answered all my questions without hesitation. I took the box to them and they unlocked it NO PROBLEM!! The staff is very kind and quick.”
