Over the years Armor has evolved from simply an Atlanta locksmith company into a full-service security systems integrator, providing services ranging from lock hardware to a broad range of electronic security systems.

As one of Atlanta's largest security services providers, we are able to bring our customers same day service. We maintain a large fleet of service vehicles and technicians, and working with Armor is a partnership: we are constantly looking for better ways to serve you.

EBEric Burke

Eric's father James started Armor and Eric has been involved with the business his entire life. He has seen first hand the changes this city and the security industry have gone through over the last 40 years.

Eric worked summers and holidays all through high school, college and graduate school as a service technician for Armor, learning the locksmith and security trade from the ground up. He received a Bachelor's Degree from Piedmont College and a Masters of Business from Georgia State University (MBA '98). After college he worked for Mitsubishi Electric Advanced Products Division for 7 years before returning to Armor Lock & Security in 2006.

Back at Armor, Eric took on the access control and security camera services expansion, and has guided Armor into becoming a complete security provider covering locksmith, access control and surveillance camera service.

Eric has held a Georgia Low Voltage License since 2006, License Number LVA 205643. He is also a partner in the remodeling and construction company Recon Atlanta, Inc. Outside of work he can usually be found racing mountain bikes, watching his kids play soccer, or spending time with friends.

Our knowledge of the Atlanta market place is second to none. We have seen, and been a part of, the changes and growth in Atlanta, and that has given us valuable insight into the security needs of our customers and our markets.

You need a license to cut hair in Georgia, but not to do locksmith work.

The locksmith industry in Georgia is completely unregulated, and mobile shops spring up daily with no insurance, no shop location and very little experience. At Armor we favor regulation and have been lobbying for many years to establish it, including support for HB 107 on the licensing of locksmiths.

Armor has career opportunities for people who want to work with a long-term, stable organization. Openings change frequently, so please contact us for specifics.

We primarily serve the property management and commercial and industrial markets of metropolitan Atlanta, specializing in master key systems, commercial hardware, access control, CCTV, high-security key systems and other areas of commercial security.

Technicians work weekdays, and we provide 24-hour emergency service to our regular customers. Our field locksmiths and security technicians generally work alone and are on the road most of the day.

We look for a friendly and courteous attitude, a strong work ethic and strong customer service skills. Salary is commensurate with abilities and experience, with a great benefits package: full health insurance, 3 weeks vacation, matching retirement plan and much more.

Experience installing magnetic locks and electric strikes
Able to work independently, clean driving record and good customer service skills
